How ROVAN partners

Clear scope. Clear ownership. No implied outcomes.

ROVAN works alongside commercial contractors as a focused commercial partner. The work is designed around sound evidence, clear decision rights, and a responsible handoff to the people who own the technical and customer commitments.

ROVAN's role

What ROVAN may handle.

  • Commercial market, account, and buyer-role research within the agreed scope.
  • Targeting, prioritization, positioning, and commercial-process design.
  • For approved Managed work, relevant outreach, follow-up, response handling, qualification, and context-rich handoff.
  • Clear reporting on work completed and the available context around a handoff.

Contractor's role

What stays with your team.

  • Accurate operating context, approved services, market boundaries, and available capacity.
  • Technical judgment, site assessment, scope, pricing, proposals, contracts, and service delivery.
  • Timely decisions on handoffs and any prospect-specific commercial commitments.
  • Review and approval of the claims, sending identity, and boundaries used in Managed work.

Working boundaries

Research, design, and managed work have different responsibilities.

Research

Research clarifies the public market, account, and buyer context around a commercial question. It informs a decision; it does not make technical, pricing, or contractual decisions for the contractor.

Pipeline design

Pipeline work turns commercial priorities into usable targeting, messaging, qualification, routing, and follow-up rules. Your team retains the judgment to apply those rules to live opportunities.

Managed work

Managed work applies an approved commercial process within agreed boundaries. ROVAN can prepare and progress appropriate conversations, while your team retains authority over commitments, proposals, and delivery.

Decision rights and handoff

Commercial context moves forward; authority stays with the contractor.

ROVAN does not represent technical capability beyond approved information, quote work, negotiate contracts, or bind a contractor to any obligation. A handoff carries the relevant commercial context so the contractor can decide whether and how to respond.

For Managed work, a named handoff owner and clear response expectations help keep live conversations within the contractor's operating capacity. The contractor decides which prospects to pursue, what to propose, and what service commitments to make.

Evidence and quality

Useful commercial direction needs a traceable basis.

ROVAN grounds research in available public evidence and contractor-provided operating context. Recommendations and outreach work remain subject to the agreed service, market, and claim boundaries. No research or commercial process guarantees meetings, opportunities, contracts, project awards, revenue, or another outcome.

Managed safeguard

Purchase is not activation of outbound work.

Managed Commercial Business Development begins only after ROVAN and the contractor confirm available capacity, territory and service boundaries, a named handoff owner, approved claims, sending identity, reply monitoring, and suppression controls. ROVAN maintains an operational suppression process for outreach and honors requests to stop contact.
